India has far surpassed the expectations of many, year on year it is experiencing a growth of approx 18% which some predict may increase to 25% - 30% in the coming years. Just four years ago there were 130 commercial aircraft operating in India, today that number stands at 350 aircraft and is expected to reach 550-600 commercial aircraft in operation by 2010.
